Our Tamper and Distributor was designed and crafted with the 54mm Breville Portafilter in mind

We know that enjoying a consistent and balanced espresso shot involves many variables from ground size to water temperature. Using our distributor will make pulling your perfect shot easier and ensure that each puck is evenly distributed in your portafilter. This will help to prevent channeling while ensuring your initial tests shots are controlled while dialing in your shot.

Our flexible design allows you to control the depth of the distributor so that you can pack more or less into your portafilter depending on your taste preferences.

By flipping over the distributor our cleverly designed espresso accessory allows for you to also tamp your shot to the perfect depth as well.

Guide:

1. Grind your coffee beans to the desired coarseness and fill your puck with your set amount. Gently tap your portafilter so the grind is more evenly displaced.
2. Using the distributor side, adjust the depth to the desired height and gently spin the distributor clockwise 3-4 turns. *Pro Tip - make sure the depth of the distributor is set to a height that sits just where you want the grinds to be without actually crushing the grinds.
3. The next step would be to flip the distributor around and use the tamper side to put even pressure on the grinds. *Pro Tip - Make sure your tamper depth is set accordingly so that you are creating a solid and firm tamp each time.
